Rooted in the Marianist tradition, The Marianist Leadership Program is focused on developing students through faith formation, service, leadership development, and community. As a signature program in the Office of Mission, the Marianist Leadership Program equips students with the knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes to build faith-filled, respectful relationships – both internal and external to the program – through communication, action, and education in their everyday lives. With a focus on using their talents and skills in service of the Common Good, students engage with the tradition of our Marianist founders to discern their vocation, and understand their role as active global citizens in community. Members of the program are often involved in other organizations on campus as well, and are committed to animating the Marianist spirt wherever they are.
Individuals interested in applying for the Marianist Leadership Program are invited to a process of mutual discernment: a process in which you prayerfully reflect on your call to apply, and consider joining this community of active faith rooted in Marianist spirituality. Simultaneously, professional and student leadership in the program discern with applicants the possibility of new members offering their gifts and talents to our community.
Please note: all applicants will be given equal review.
The MLP Application deadline is Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.
