Your journey at St. Mary’s University starts with Rattler Ready! This program helps you transition smoothly into college life, introducing you to campus and ensuring you’re fully prepared for your first day of class.

Zaragoza is a required program for all first-time freshmen students from August 14-17, 2025. During these days, you’ll meet your future classmates, get familiar with campus life, and prepare for the exciting years ahead! The first day of Zaragoza also includes special programming for parents and families.

🔹 All new undergraduate students must attend both Rattler Ready! and Zaragoza.
💰 A one-time $250 fee for these programs will be added to your student account — no payment is due now.

🌍 International students (F-1 and J-1) should sign up for the August Rattler Ready, which does include the required International Rattler Ready on August 11-12, 2026. U.S. Citizens who live abroad are also welcome to attend the International Rattler Ready.

🌍 International Rattler Ready is a specific orientation program for our international families. We welcome parents to attend with students.
