Rattler Orientation - St. Mary's Undergraduate Freshman Students

About Rattler Orientation

Your transition to St. Mary's University begins with orientation. During Rattler Orientation, you are introduced to the St. Mary's campus community, our programs, and other students.

All new undergraduate students are required to attend Rattler Orientation and Zaragoza. A one-time fee of $250 will be added to your student account for Rattler Orientation. No additional payment is due at this time.

Rattler Orientation, the one-day program:

Fall 2023

Session 1: Friday, June 9, 2023
Session 2: Monday, June 12, 2023
Session 3: Friday, June 16, 2023
Session 4: Friday, June 23, 2023
Session 5: Thursday, August 10, 2023

Zaragoza (First-time freshman required):

August 11-14, 2023
This takes place during the final days of summer before classes begin and concludes your orientation program.

Information for International Students

In addition to Rattler Orientation, international students must attend an additional orientation session for international students. There is a mandatory F-1 and J-1 Visa holders document check process. Please check your email for additional information. Contact the International Students and Scholar Services at isss@stmarytx.edu for more information or questions.
